"Tiffany Pelton, will you enter into a life-long covenant marriage with me?"

"YES!"

Down on a knee, Pain Falls Painsville, Ohio

We climbed a fence and stood on the far left of the waterfall where there was a flat surface. It was in that spot that Roger knelt down on one knee and we began our covenant promise.

A match made in heaven

We were introduced by two friends, Roger's secretary at the church Gloria, and Tiffy's co-worker Vicky at Lyn-Way Restaurant in Ashland. They knew of two Christians who were seeking a Godly person, and they thought of us. We met on a Tuesday, as Roger came into Lyn-Way. At first glance of each other, we both felt something inside of us that led us to a natural and comfortable place. We went out on our first date that very night after Tiff got off of work. From there, we have been together about every day. It is amazing how well we compliment one another. Though we are different in a lot of ways, our differences provide strengths in areas that one or the other needs. We center our relationship on Christ and have regular devotions, prayer, and praise time. Tiffany goes to every church related event, by her own choice and because she wants to grow closer to God. Roger is growing closer to God with her, as together we shine forth the beauty of what the Lord has done by uniting us in love. Before Roger asked Tiff to marry him, we spent a full day in prayer together about that possibility. We got on our knees and sought His guidance. By the end of our prayers, we both said, "Let's get married." From that point on, we have been absolutely blessed, and blessings to each other. Our families support us, and our friends are totally behind us too. God has opened up amazing circumstance after circumstance. For example, He provided a diamond for us from Roger's mother Brenda, which we did not even know existed. He has provided us with Aunt Anna who will make our cake for free; with Pastor Vernon Palo to marry us; with financial backing from both sides of the family to cover must all of our costs; with a beautiful reception hall where the woman in charge gave us a 10 percent discount on the food, service, and location because she is the brother to one of Roger's pastor friends; with free center pieces that the Blue Heron just so happened to have in our colors; with a piano player who is a close friend for free; with a church that will allow us a free service; with our friend Ellen who is our wedding planer; with a house which I live in from the church; with two good jobs that can keep us afloat; with a near free photographer Richard Palo; and so much more which we could go on and on about! Thank you Jesus for each other and the many of people named here and not named here who are a blessing to us.
